  Q1.when will be the date of the conclusion of the Eco Mark Basic contract?
   The date of conclusion of the "basic contract for Eco Mark utilization" is the same as the date of certification notice.

  Q2.Until when Eco Mark certification is valid ?
   It is valid from the date of dispatch of results of certification examination until the end of the term of validity of certification criteria with which the said product is certified. Additionally, even in the event when the said certification criteria have been revised during the term of validity of certification, product already certified would not be affected and that the certification of product already certified remain valid.

  Q3.The validity term of a product category (certification criteria) with which certification was given, is about to expire. What would happen to Eco Mark product currently in contract
   With the date of end of Utilization Contract, (the longest would be until the date of expiration of validity of product certification) you must stop the shipment Eco Mark product with printed or attached with Eco Mark. But you can continue to use, indicate, and so Eco Mark on the said product by obtaining again a new certification with another product category (certification criteria of a new Version and others) In addition, the new version of certification criteria is planned to be established about one year prior to the end of the term of validity of current certification criteria (old Version).
Note; If you have obtained a new certification with certification criteria of new Version, there are cases that shipment of already certified product that had been manufactured before the end of period of validity (product already with Eco Mark indications under the old version) is approved as before up to one year in principle from the date of conclusion of the new contract) . We will inform you separately on the said contract, as a prescribed procedure would be necessary at the time of signing.

  Q4.How do I cancel an Eco Mark Utilization Contract?
   A licensee may cancel the Utilization Contract in whole or in part by submitting a specified document (Application for cancellation of Eco Mark Utilization Contract (form F) not later than 30 days before the reference date each year.
Note: As cancellation would be for each period subject to payment (one year), annual Fees already paid would not be returned in principle. However, in the event that there are Annual Fees not yet paid, we will bill for it separately. Furthermore, when Annual Fees are settled based on Report of Sales Amount, we will adjust the excess and deficiency with Annual Fees of the next period.
